As a Chef
How I Became a Chef
When our family just moved to America, I wanted to help do some chores, so I started to cook. I immediately fell in love with it. I love being able to control everything from the flavor to the look.

What I’ve Done

Guacamole
Tasty Green Food?
This guacamole was one of the easier recipes that I worked on. It only takes around 10 minutes to prep this, and it's great for a quick snack or for large amounts of guests.

Beef Nachos
Endless Possibilities
Nachos is a great thing to eat, there is an infinite number of ways to pair up the ingredients. Here I used some colby jack and cheddar cheese, and well as a piece of New York Strip Loin. For the chips, I used normal baked tortilla chips.Â
I made this by searing, resting and cutting the steak. Baking the chips, rebake with a layer of cheese, a layer of steak, and another layer of cheese. Then you can star digging in.

Seared Scallops
Elegant Seafood
This is a simple dish that requires almost no prep, and is very easy to make. IÂ like to add a bit of thyme because it boosts the aroma of the scallops.Â
I heat the pan to the smoking point, add in the butter and the thyme. Then I add the scallops in a clockwise circle, and flips them a few minutes after the same order I put them in. With a nice sear on both, it is ready for plating.

Beyond Meat Burgers
Sparked Creativity
Beyond meat is a new type of meat, made solely from vegetables. It is healthy for the earth, and for yourself.Â
Here I am using a cast iron griddle, to cook my paddies, buns, bacon, onions, and mushrooms. Then everything is topped with some tomato and ketchup.
